Offering a mixed bag of preserve-managed big game and wild birds, GBH Safaris is a small operation and one of the great gems of Argentina. Bird shooting is fast, sporadic, and challenging. Hunting for Red Stags is done on a block of native Argentinian forest and scrub that’s never been logged, cleared, or farmed and is now protected in a reserve. Red deer there are supplemented each year with a few hinds bearing good genetics, but the population breeds and maintains naturally. Big wild boar and blackbuck are additionally available. You’ll stay in a quaint historic farmhouse and eat wonderfully well. And need we mention the sunsets are spectacular—especially when framed by heavy, palmated antlers?
